Art Nook Playhouse

The Art Nook is a small-scale structure designed to inspire creativity and social interaction. Featuring a built-in blackboard wall for chalk drawing and an integrated space for a child-sized picnic table, the structure offers shade and definition to an area where children can gather, draw, and collaborate. The open front and low roofline create an inviting, accessible zone that encourages artistic expression while maintaining passive supervision visibility.

Bike Barn

The Bike Barn is a rustic, utilitarian structure with a corrugated metal roof, open side bays, and a sliding barn door that reinforces its agricultural character. Exposed scissor trusses provide both structural integrity and visual interest, while a small shed-style patio roof extends over the adjacent walkway, offering weather protection and emphasizing the transition into the play area. This building supports not only imaginative play but also practical use as a shelter for riding toys or activity transitions.

Bridge Entryway

Serving as a functional and symbolic threshold, the Bridge Entryway guides students across a drainage swale and into the main play area. Constructed with a pastel green painted frame, corrugated metal roofing, and protective wooden railing, the structure evokes a rural crossing while remaining playful and approachable. It encourages a moment of transition—a sense of entering a new, creative world—while maintaining safety and visual cohesion with the other structures.

Water Mill Building
Anchored by a playful water wheel feature, the Water Mill structure introduces children to the visual language of historical rural architecture. It features a hip-and-valley roofline, offering visual complexity and shaded protection beneath. Inside, the structure accommodates a play kitchen area and operable windows, encouraging interactive roleplay and social storytelling. The mill theme subtly weaves environmental awareness into play, connecting children with the idea of water use and rural craft.
